No. Beside Care turns short clips into brief, calm summaries so you can stay informed without watching video.
Is this an emergency monitoring service?
No. Beside Care is for daily routine insights and check-ins, not emergency response. For urgent needs, we recommend a dedicated medical alert device.
Is this considered surveillance?
We keep it privacy-first: no live view, no raw video stored by default, and summaries focus on activity patterns—not personal details.
Can I control when I get updates?
Yes. You can choose morning, afternoon, and evening digests and adjust the times in your preferences.
What if there is no activity detected?
We’ll include a gentle note in your digest if activity looks unusually quiet for that time of day.
What cameras do I need?
We currently support Ring cameras. If you already have Ring devices, you can link them, no new hardware required.
